Method launched a new, smarter laundry detergent with a novel form factor – the pump. Method Laundry’s first integrated campaign launched a website, sweepstakes, video and promotional event with a mobile tie-in.

Known for it’s cheeky advertising, Method Laundry was no exception. The mid-century sitcom spoof, “Sticky Situation”, was meant to be more SNL than advertising. It pairs “dirty” with “jugs” for improving your laundry smarts. 

PEOPLE AGAINST DIRTY

LaundrySmarts.com quizzed the curious to find out just how dirty they were (as in laundry) and gave them suggestions on how to clean up their act. Along with a sweepstakes to win a washer and dryer, laundry experts were invited to demonstrate their prowess with tips on how to make laundry smarter.

During a weekend promotional event in Manhattan, attendees could access a special link via a QR code that provided quick access to valuable information on a brand new product without the paper handouts.
